VISION AND MISSION

In 2003, after serving nearly 10 years as missionaries in Mexico, Mark and Laura Shook felt called to start a multi-denominational, mission-focused church in Cypress, TX. Over the past 20 years, the COF family has grown by thousands of diverse people, sent mission teams all over the world, partnered with organizations around Houston, and seen God move in big ways.

Now, in 2025, Community of Faith has launched its first church in England, in Leicester, expanding its mission to bring faith, outreach, and transformation to new communities. This marks a new chapter in our journey, reaching even more people with the love of Christ and continuing our commitment to discipleship and global impact.
